Junior Mentor Roles for Girls Rock! Sydney
We are excited to announce that we will have a number of Junior Mentor roles at Girls Rock! Sydney camp!
The first ever Girls Rock! Sydney Camp for female, trans and non-binary youth aged 10-17 years will be held on 15th – 20th January 2018 at The Factory Theatre in Marrickville. Read about the camp program here.
At Girls Rock! Sydney we aim to champion diversity, so we encourage those of all backgrounds to apply, particularly those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, the LGBTQIA community, and those with differing abilities.
We are currently seeking Junior Mentors to help out at the camp and at various Girls Rock! Sydney events and gigs. Junior Mentor positions are suitable for people with a passionate interest in music who want to develop their skills by working with an experienced mentor. This could be in an area where you have a bit of experience, or none at all.
Junior Mentor roles include:

- Stage Technician
- Media (photos, videos, etc.)
- Education Assistant
- Assistant Coordinator/Project Manager
- General Mentor Assistant
Junior Mentors will ideally be 18-23 years old however, this is a guideline and we may make exceptions depending on your experience and knowledge.
